Who We Are?

ST Planet is the global extension of SankalpTaru Foundation, a technology-led afforestation movement that began its journey in India in 2012. It all started with a simple idea — to nurture every planted sapling into a thriving tree.

Over the years, we have transformed this vision into reality through innovation and purpose. We were among pioneers to introduce geo-tagging of trees, develop ForeStation™ IoT devices for transparent, data-driven environmental monitoring, and experiment with drone seed bombing and blockchain technology to bring credibility and traceability to every sapling planted.

Afforestation activity

From the hot deserts of Thar to the cold highlands of Ladakh, from mountain slopes and river islands to coastal plains and plateaus, our forests have grown in some of India’s toughest terrains — nurturing ecosystems, restoring soils, and uplifting livelihoods. So far, SankalpTaru has planted over 13 million trees, revived 40,000 acres of land, and supported more than 50,000 rural farmers and communities through sustainable green livelihood initiatives. As the climate crisis deepens, our roots in India have inspired us to reach farther. ST Planet, headquartered in Delaware, USA, carries this mission to a global stage — to connect people across borders in healing the planet, one tree at a time.
